Magazine front cover (Final draft)

 This is the final draft of my front cover and my final product as following from the research, analysis and the issues and concerms from my previous drafts. Following on from the revious two drafts, this cover has had massive improvements. The improvents that have been made are;
  • The fonts of the contents have been made very small following on from the conventions so it dosen't undermine the masthead.
  • There is more content. The botton of the page is filled with a "coldplay poster special", this is/was so I could offer my audience with more contents and features.
  • I've made the masthead bigger, following from the generic conventions, I've made it bigger, as it is steriotypicaly bigger than the rest of the text and the caption "the magazine that rocks this world" I've made smaller as well. This because that the previous drafts, the caption was also undermining the mastead as it was bigger than the masthead itself.
  • I've organised my contents and put them into columns and not so far apart.
  • The barcode is smaller and is put horizontaly on the right side of the page.
  • The main issue I've made bigger and put it all in black and pink. With the box surrounding it, I decided to give it some texture and used a silver graded style box, as I thought that it would look nice, which it does.
Overall, this version of my front cover is fitted well to the generic conventions and the layout of a magazine cover, interms of position, layout, text and design.
